DUB INN Functions & Applications

Isononyl isononanoate is the cosmetic ester identified in the supplier description for DUB INN. Its principal function is emolliency, with applications in the oil portion of skin-care, makeup, sun-care and hair-care formulations. An ester of this type is selected to influence spreading and the sensory balance of an oil blend, rather than to provide the water-binding action of a humectant. It can therefore be considered when developing an emollient system containing other cosmetic oils or silicones. The complete formula determines the resulting feel and compatibility. This listing should not be treated as proof that the supplied material is an authenticated DUB ININ branded grade, or that it reproduces that producer’s specific sensory or performance results.
