Lauryl Trimonium Chloride Functions & Applications

Lauryl Trimonium Chloride is associated with the INCI Laurtrimonium Chloride, a cationic surfactant with conditioning, softening and antistatic functions. Producer documentation includes antistatic treatment of polyolefin and polyester nonwoven materials among its applications. Its positive charge gives it a different formulation role from a primary anionic detergent, so compatibility should be assessed rather than inferred from the broad surfactant category. Commercial preparations can contain a carrier as well as the active salt, which makes supplied composition essential for interpreting an addition level. Confirm the exact INCI behind the trade spelling and match the grade to the intended treatment system. This name does not establish a particular active percentage, a biocidal authorization or suitability for every cosmetic or industrial use.
