Polyquaternium-69 (PQ-69) Functions & Applications

Polyquaternium-69 is used as a styling polymer in products that need to leave a fixing film on hair. Documented formats include gels, mousses, styling creams and non-aerosol sprays. Its function is to help maintain a chosen hairstyle after application and drying, making film character and delivery format central to ingredient selection. Commercial examples include hydroalcoholic solutions, but the ingredient name alone does not establish this listing's solvent system or polymer solids. Those details affect how it can be incorporated into a water-based gel or spray. Evaluate hold, stiffness, sprayability and interaction with the chosen thickener in the finished formula. Performance demonstrated for a manufacturer's reference polymer should not be treated as a guaranteed result for an unspecified grade.

Polyquaternium-69 (PQ-69): Overview

Polyquaternium-69 (PQ-69) is a functional polymer or formulation ingredient offered for business-to-business ingredient sourcing. Its role in a finished product depends on the precise chemical or botanical identity, concentration, manufacturing grade and formulation requirements. Typical application areas may include rheology control, conditioning, solubilization and texture management where appropriate, provided the selected grade meets relevant safety and regulatory requirements. Confirm polymer grade, viscosity, molecular weight and supply form. Buyers should review the certificate of analysis, technical data sheet and safety data sheet before purchasing or using this material. Reveda supports wholesale and bulk inquiries for Polyquaternium-69 (PQ-69) in the USA. Packaging, availability, order quantities and supporting documentation should be confirmed directly before an order is placed.
