Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate (SLES) 28% Functions & Applications

Sodium lauryl ether sulfate 28% is a liquid-format primary surfactant used in foaming aqueous cleansers. Manufacturer technical information for comparable diluted grades describes use in shower and foam-bath formulations, with viscosity adjusted through the complete surfactant and electrolyte system. The lower concentration means that more raw-material mass is required to deliver the same active matter as a 70% supply, while more water enters the batch at the same time. This affects recipe balancing and the sequence used to reach the target viscosity. The grade should therefore be selected for the manufacturing and formulation brief, not treated as an equal-weight substitute for a concentrated paste. Confirm active matter and the supplied preservation profile.
